At the start of an adventure, everything is so exciting. Your bags are packed and anticipation is high.

The brain lights up with new stimuli: people, places and food.

Maybe there is some challenge to your adventure that brings reward and satisfaction, like a long hike to a magical spot or a connection that opens the heart.

Eventually, though, one must return home, right?

The truth is, as someone who travels quite frequently, I love coming home

There is no place like home!

Yet, there is often an integration time between the adventure and the grounding back into homebase.

I don’t think that people talk often enough about how hard this transition can sometimes be.

It can feel like the brain is just completely dumping and balancing from all the highs that it had just previously experienced.

After all, the brain is brilliant at doing it’s best to maintain homeostasis, and this might show up as feeling low after a lot of fun.

Knowing this, I’ve created a practice of allowing my first day home after a trip to be all about restoration.

I found that it is important for me to have grace with myself in any feelings or brain fog that may come up during this time, while also recognizing the massive privilege of this type of experience.

I honor my bloodline and the women who came before me so I can be this free. 🙏

With divine support, I created this life by design.

I chose to commit to my dreams and learn from those who have what I desire, and for me that looks like having choice in my life and no boss to answer to.

I am happy to help people who are ready to activate! Comment FREEDOM for my work from anywhere guide✨

Lots of Love,
