Waking up at 5am unable to sleep, we decided to find a spot in Ocean City for the day. There was plenty of street parking and we found a free spot between 2nd and 3rd. It was a hot and uncomfortable morning, but as the sun rose in the sky and the breeze picked up, being parked in southern OC was quite refreshing.

We were located an easy walking distance from the bay and couple blocks from the beach. We began the day with a splash in the ocean and then walked the boardwalk and perused the many shops.

While James passed out during siesta I went for a walk around the block singing and playing with my hula hoop. I couldn’t be happier. Then I ordered some sushi and noodles from Tai Ji Sushi. Walking around beach towns and having everything I need within reach gives me such a high. I brought the food back to James and then I passed out for a nap in the loft with sweet sea breezes crossing over me.

It was Senior week in Ocean City which is the week when graduating high school seniors celebrate their freedom with beach partying. It was fun to be in the center of the music and laughing from the youth.

I used the freezer to create a chalk board calendar. Marking it with our location for the day and any activities we had planned. I particularly like how little is on it. Of course I also have a mental calendar that has daily tasks on it such as write blog, take care of the cats, and planning food and water for the day.❤️
